Xu Zhimo

偶爾投影在你的波心;

I am a cloud in the sky, occasionally projected into your heart;

You do not have to be surprised, nor to mention joy, as in the blink of an instant, it vanished into the air.

You and I met in the night at sea, you have yours, and I have mine, direction.

You may remember, you’d better forget, in this moment of life, our shine on each other.

In our lives, there are many things that may never happen again. Everyone has his or her own direction in life, we meet by chance, may hurry separated, and then never see each other again. The separation feeling in this poet sounds helplessness and sorrow.
